Personal
Dr. Modery likes to tell people he became a Texan as soon as he could as his family moved from Maine to Amarillo when he was ten years old. He attended Amarillo High School where he developed a love for music, sports and technology – which continues today. Dr. Modery loves exploring the outdoors — especially backpacking in remote parts of the country. While attending West Texas A&M University he met his wife Kari, who is a nurse in Amarillo. They have a miniature schnauzer named Jacks and 3 kids which keep them very busy.
Professional
Dr. Modery attended West Texas A&M University where he received his bachelors degree in Biology. He went on to complete his doctorate at Baylor College of Dentistry. While at Baylor he received the Pierre Fauchard Award of Merit for outstanding service to the profession as well as the Academy of Osseointegration’s Outstanding Student in Implant Dentistry award. He strives to stay at the forefront of modern dentistry with his passion for microscope, laser and digital technologies. Dr. Modery looks forward to a career of lifelong learning by pursuing Fellowships in the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
